A Most Unnecessary Soundtrack Release: SaGa 2 Hihou Densetsu Goddess of Destiny Original Soundtrack

Could it be possible that the soundtrack for the DS remake of SaGa II (Final Fantasy Legend 2) sounds worse than the original Game Boy soundtrack? According to OSV, it does. OSV takes a look at the official soundtrack release from Square Enix and compares it to the Game Boy soundtrack that was just released 2 months ago in the massive SaGa Series Premium Box.

It is a great time for fans of Square Enix’s SaGa series! Romancing SaGa 2 was ported to multiple platforms and released worldwide. SaGa: Scarlet Grace was the first new entry in the series in over 11 years when it was released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan in 2016. Basically, it feels like it is experiencing a renaissance. Which means it is a good time to review what makes it so special.

Emperors SaGa: Only a Sliver of Hope for the SaGa Series

Emperors SaGa is the latest game in Akitoshi Kawazu’s SaGa series to come out this September in Japan. It is a mobile title headed for smartphones, and Square Enix is teaming up with GREE for this free-to-play entry in the series. To my surprise, I had found out that there were several remakes of the early SaGa titles for the Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, those were Japan-exclusive. OpRainfall’s Jonathan Higgins wrote an article dealing with that topic.

SaGa is a series that has been continually misunderstood in America. I hope one day that it has a chance again for success. I loved SaGa Frontier.

I remember playing the first Saga and was completly thrown off by the presentation. But once I started playing this game it was brilliant.

Love the SaGa series.

I hope it comes here. Hopefully it's released for iOS and Android here like Final Fantasy Legends (Dimensions).

Holy crap a new SaGa game!? A little disappointed that it's a mobile game but I hope we get a PSN release of 1 and 2.
