StarCraft II Uplifts Seoul

Blizzard unveiled StarCraft II over the weekend in Seoul, South Korea. Next-Gen had a reporter on the ground to offer firsthand impressions of a game that has captivated an entire country.

"It was only right that StarCraft 2 should be unveiled in Korea. When I arrived here six years ago, I quickly saw that this was a nation utterly obsessed with all things Blizzard, and since then, the fervor has only heightened. This past weekend's Blizzard expo at Seoul's Olympic Stadium represented the very pinnacle of that fervor, and beyond being rewarded with what was perhaps the most incredible gamers' day of all time -- complete with massive competitions, hot air balloons, K-Pop concerts, and more -- fans were finally treated to the announcement that they'd waited an eternity for." (PC, Starcraft II)
