Tim McDonald fights them on the beaches, in the sky, and in bases in All Aspect Warfare.
From the review: "Being that this is by the same developers as the Battlecruiser series, it's perhaps not a surprise that the first comparison I thought of was flight simulators, and there are some striking similarities with AAW. First off: the manual. These days, more often than not, a manual is a flimsy little paper booklet with a vague description of the controls, a paragraph of plot, and usually works out to be a convenient place to put a CD key. Conversely, AAWs manual is absolutely essential if you want any degree of success with the game."
My warface is a Max Payne-style smirk with a hint of Nicolas Cage crazy-eyes. Crytek’s Warface, however, is a CryEngine 3-based free-to-play war shooter. The game, which is curiously not called “WarCry,” is currently live in Russia, and we’ve been hearing for a while that it’ll come our way soon — probably before the end of the year. {Tyler Wilde}
This is the Russian version and it is 100% playable and F2P! I haven't paid any attention to the microtransactions yet. Just getting a feel for the game.
The Graphics are Great making Warface nice to look at. I've played for about an hour and it feels like Call of Duty meets Crysis just like the article says. It's gonna take me more playing time to get a good feel for it. I've been playing Firefall and Tribes Ascend so Warface is a complete 180 from those two titles.
It's a great way to get some instant Run n Gun in for those who love going Rambo so two thumbs up in that department. Click start and just start shooting, no strategy no flags just BANG BANG your Dead lol.
Yeah, it's free2play. But you have to pay for the more powerful guns, ammo, knives, grenades, vehicles, health packs, etc. So in a way, you'll end up paying more money than if this was just released as a god-damn retail title.
At least that's what I heard.
Honestly why even bother lying anymore? Just call it the "Pay to win" model and be done.....
Armchair General writes: "All Aspect Warfare is a study in overcoming adversity. As its story opens, you and a team of soldiers are alone, on foot and unsupported on a hostile world. You are surrounded by adversaries, and charged with finding a nuclear device within the next 24 hours somewhere within a 400-square-kilometer area – and with no idea of where to begin."
Developer 3000AD has announced a week-long sale for their action shooter titles All Aspect Warfare and Angle of Attack. Both games are now available on Steam at 50% off their standard price.
Great variation of grades for this game...
Looks very dull to me, but at least it scored better than the other review lol.
I miss the days of War and Peace game manuals.
Sounds interesting but I dunno if I really have the patience...
oh one of THOSE games...
