PlayStation 3: Wait & See - The Logical Side Of The Story

It's been several months since the extremely underwhelming launch of the PS3 in North America and Japan. The day has finally come for us here in Australia, but the point is – it still really isn't worth getting, and not by a long shot. You would have thought Sony would use the previous months to get their act together, but, despite having all the chances in the world, they haven't gotten their own act together – rather, someone elses.

Let's begin by discussing the entire point of a video games console – the games. The PlayStation 3 seems to have built up a hefty array of launch titles, but by saying they've gotten someone else's act together, there is no kidding there. These aren't PS3 exclusive titles, and many have been available on the Xbox 360 for months now.

you can read this article and whine and say - this is an anti-sony site or read the link at the end which says - "Want the other side of the story? PlayStation 3: Buy it Now." and say - this is pro-sony site. q:

MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!

It has sold better than x360 did in Japan -and- North America its first 4 months with no NextGen competition.

between Ps2's DVD player and the Bluray player in PS3. While everyone admits the DVD in the PS2 was crap the BluRay drive in the PS3 is actually scoring above the standalone players. I am not Pro Sony or PS3 but this is flamebait. If I buy PS3 it will be for the bluray player first and the two exclusive games I want second. HD is gorgeous no matter what flavour of disk it comes on.

yea the the 360 was the "first" console to be come next gen... but seriously what games did that system offer...

a pretty Call of duty.. so what...
madden that just looked good.. so what
King Kong... not even going to comment..

Only 4 months ago did I buy a good game which was Gears..

When Halo3, Mass Effect, Forza, BioShock

When these hit.

Massive sales in Consoles (360)

How can Sony survive when their exclusives are getting tossed to the 360?

How can the makers of MGS and FF turn their face around of the huge install base of the 360, when only the so called 'Gears' of war is the only good game?. They will be blind to see that it's not a good investment.
Plus - Sony has really f'kd up in so many ways. Being realistic.

If you aint part of the gaming companies... Think like your in one.
360 = MONEY

But on the side note.
The PS3's future is really not looking good at all.
If they bleed exclusives and the 360 is lickin'm off, How could anyone say that the PS3 has a bright future?

Plus. The wii..... no comment on that.

Blu-Ray Better win.

and Devil May Cry..... 360 welcomes you Dante!!!

with the PS home..... It's cool... but still has to be proven to the almighty X-box Live..

With the controllers. Hopefully PS3 will get it's rumble A.S.A.P.

Price... Damnn....... While the PS3 can't afford a price cut, microsoft's proven system can go 100 buck cheaper and plus... maybe a black 360 with 120 HDD.

Future is lookin bright for the 360

As a kid i had some heart attacks playing this game. The soundtrack right on point with those close calls. I love this game.

Agreed. I still love it and play it often. Still sucks that Disney was like, nah... this game didn't do well, when it did well against other racers and reviewed well.

Split/Second was one of the game I enjoyed playing. In fact it's still the most popular video on my YouTube channel. It's a gameplay of Split/Second posted 15 years ago. This past month 25 people viewed it. Split/Second is a favourite amongst racing gamers worldwide.

This game was super awesome and hella fun playing split-screen with the homie. Trashing your friend’s car during split-screen competition using one of those QuickTime events was so funny haha

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.

The score for the first Plants Vs Zombies is such great, iconic music that it has a timeless quality. Not quite the level of Minecraft, but wonderful in its own right.
