Sandfall Interactive has created an RPG that will soon cement itself as a modern classic.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the second Unreal Engine 5-powered title to launch this week. The game leverages the entire UE5 suite, including Lumen, Nanite, Niagara, and Virtual Shadows. Despite that, it runs better than the Oblivion Remake. Perhaps due to its smaller environments and aggressive culling rate.
Total sales for turn-based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have surpassed 500,000 units just one day after release, publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Sandfall Interactive announced.
Awesome! I got my copy yesterday. It's great so far! I'm excited to play it more this weekend. I hope it continues to sell well.
Absolutely deserved and I hope more people will get on board! This is a passion project and it shows! And for a new IP AND a brand new studio it's bloody well done!!
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now available for PC, and here are the best settings for getting optimized performance on mid-end systems.
Pay attention Square.
Wow the overhype is real with this one.
It's a decent game, but it's not even close to BG3.
