Sony Interactive Entertainment has brought notable improvements to its AI-based upscaling technology, PSSR, in the latest PS5 Pro SDK update.
TELUS launches the GameRx wellness gaming platform, offering science-backed game recommendations for mental and physical health.
The First Descendant developers revealed that the Battle Pass for Season 3 will have one significant improvement compared to the others.
Like Sony's other remasters, those who own the original on PS4 can upgrade to the remaster. Considering all the new modes, if you love Days Gone. Thanks to the PS5's solid-state drive, loading times are reduced, which means less time spent fast-travelling, respawning, or entering the game and more time playing.
By the time PS6 comes out Sony's PSSR will be better than whatever the competition has on console imho.
While this is just one or two games apparently improving without anything to show it (great article) its still new software so they'll absolutely continue to improve the performance and results.
Wouldnt be surprised to see more jumps coming now as devs are getting FSR4 experience (its the same thing shhh).
Just like FSR and DLSS these scaling technologies, unless abandoned, which is highly unlikely, will continue to get better and better until something greater comes along and replaces it.
4 years of testing should be so fruitful for next gen with this tech
PSSR is one of the main reasons why I can get behind the Pro. It's going to put future PlayStation consoles in much better position.
