Now that Stardew Valley's 1.6 update has released, ConcernedApe has indicated that he's getting back to work on Haunted Chocolatier.
While Stardew Valley is still going strong, developer Eric Barone (better known as ConcernedApe) isn't resting on laurels and is currently working on Haunted Chocolatier.
