Day one patch...don't fail us on performance!

fsfsxii42d ago

they should aspire to 60fps.

Part of me is hoping for another cyberpunk fiasco...gamers haven't learned yet.

I always expect it, but I don’t remember anyone ‘hoping’ for it. Any particular reason you want a game launch to fail? Just to teach gamers what lesson in particular?

Crows9040d ago (Edited 40d ago )

First off. Cyberpunk was successful.
Secondly. I don't want this game to fail at all.
Third. You expect it but most seem to run with the hype like blind bats.
Fourth. It would be better for the industry if the cyberpunk lesson were up front every time.

What was the problem...making assumptions of a game before release only to be disappointed because it failed to meet certain personal expectations set forth by industry media, incorrect translations and fan wishes.

I know I will like this game because I loved the 1st. I expect bad performance.

With cyberpunk 2077 anyone who played cdpr games knows performance was always an issue with prior games. We already knew there would be bugs and glitches... We knew they weren't making a GTA competitor.

And my final point....I said a part of me wishes it...just a part

Sure. When Dragon's Dogma 3 comes out, the same thing will be said about current gen.

I'm sure Space Invaders from the 80's had a vision to become Helldivers, but couldn't because of the technology at the time.

What a load of bulldung.

first emulation, now this
even though I don't play Garry's Mod, it is still bad

Inverno2d ago

I was reading it's all just false reports from a troll who's done things like this in the past and not Nintendo themselves.

-Foxtrot2d ago

Well the games creator Gary Newman confirmed it himself on Twitter.

Seems that's still being debated.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a great game, but only if you take your time

Alex writes: "I have a habit of trying to rush through games, so Dragon's Dogma 2 was a nice reminder that taking it slow isn't the end of the world."
