JRPG has always been a respect for me. Japan's made such great rpgs that they deserve their own genre to distinguish from the rest.
I can indeed see why some would find it offensive, I mean I'd think it wierd if there were other countries that'd call USA made RPGs as American-RPGs lol.

Yea, it’s literally a style of game. Hell, some of the best games of all time are JRPGs. I get why Yoshi P took offense because now the west says it mainly to use in a negative context, but I also hear anime used in a similar context.

I think it's the best term to differentiate western & eastern rpgs. I happen to favor Jrpg's more so than Wrpg's.
