Outriders was crap. They slapped that game together and threw in a loot system to get players' attention. This game was absolutely jank and the always online nonsense made it stutter like crazy. People Can't Optimize.
I liked Outriders but I could see where the artistic vision was compromised. The way the industry is now, it wouldn't surprise me that upper management would scrap something that didn't pull in money via gaas, mts, or other means.

Maybe, but the main reason the GTA DE sucks is because it's all based on mobile ports of the games from 2013 and they've just been repurposing that for crap console ports ever since. RDR does not have a crappy mobile port so maybe it'll do better, but we'll see. If it's given to Grove Street Games I'm losing hope 😅
I have no interest replaying 100+ hour games, how about GTA6 first?!
The developer seemed to transition GTA V to PS4 then to PS5 smoothly, will little updates here and there. Perhaps, Rockstar wants a read dead 2 current gen release to be a big step up from the original or they just don’t find a current gen update worthy of their time and effort. I would be happy if they just updated the game with 60fps, and SSD fast loading times.
