The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is the fifth game in the Legend of Heroes: Trails series, and the second game in the Crossbell duology, that started with Trails from Zero. It stars Lloyd and the fellow members of the Special Support Section (SSS), and is a direct sequel to Trails from Zero, taking place a few short months after that game’s ending. It should go without saying that you really should play Trails from Zero before starting this game; you can even transfer clear data from that title into this one. I can’t help but spoil some aspects of Zero’s story while discussing this game, so if you wish to avoid spoilers (even if minor), you may want to play that game before reading this review."

Awesome. Love Legend of Heroes series and I will continue to buy them. They have been around for a long time now. Just starting Zero

This a great news, and hopefully encourages NF to localize their games even faster for us non-Japanese speaking fans. Can’t wait to continue the story with Reverie in July.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Review [Capsule Computers]

Travis of Capsule Computers writes:

"There was once a time that the Crossbell arc of games from The Legend of Heroes franchise seemed forever locked to Japan with no official way to ever experience the two games that featured characters and events that would play into later events in the franchise but that all changed last year when NIS America brought over the HD release of the first game in the Crossbell arc, Trails from Zero. This time around, the publisher wasn’t about to let fans sit and wait for the conclusion to this story arc as six months later, we now have the release of Trails to Azure, looking to finish the story. With the first game offering a quality storyline and satisfying gameplay, has Trails to Azure managed to reach the same level of excellence?"

If I wanted to try playing the LoH, which game should I start at? The last one I played was the psp game and i never finished it.

I think it goes Sky trilogy, Zero/Azure duology, then Cold Steel? I'm nut sure after that.

I would have given it an ELEVEN out of FIVE. But that's fine.
Seriously though, if you haven't played the Legend of Heroes games I think they are some of the best JRPGs, nothing else builds a fleshed out world like them.
