The first boss will make it seem like it's harder than sekiro, buts it's really a whole lot easier.

The first boss will give you no choice but to learn how to parry and once you have that down the game is fairly easy outside of 2 or 3 bosses that will test you.

It's good but honestly the same old thing from TN. Assets look copy paste from Nioh at times, i had technical issues with pop and camera, and like Nioh it's a visual dog particularly at night. Nonsense story. Solid systems and mechanics, solid combat, all like Nioh, but again, it feels like more of the same. The combat is a bit altered but largely the game feels like Nioh 3. This after FF Origins adopted a Souls-lite aspect.

Soulslikes are becoming oversaturated in the industry and most suffer from the same flaws. Garbage or incoherent story telling often disguised as artful and interpretive genius, poor visuals, technical issues, etc. I enjoy them but i would like to see Demon's Souls Re or real AAA production at some point. More unique settings ie Deck 13. More original design. Oh, and quality narratives and NPCs. Hopefully Ronin is a step up with XDev JP working on the project.

If that ain’t evidence of butchering sales I don’t know what else is. Granted I bought it on steam, and downloaded it from Gamepass and on my Xbox so I wonder how many people did similar.
