Not Just "release games"... The games must be good and popular.

Flawlessmic480d ago

Ms and Phil have always been great at talking.

Putting those words into action is another story entirely.

ApocalypseShadow480d ago

Stop talking. Stop promising. Just deliver in-house quality games. And not play like taking multiplatform games and publishers away from other platforms as delivering.

Because most of the developers under their wing before the acquisitions haven't delivered yet either. And it's going on 3 years already. How hard is it to put your back into it and put some effort into making games. Over 20 years of seeing examples from your competitors should have given clues.

Flawlessmic480d ago (Edited 480d ago )

Straight up its that simple.

Release first party AAA bangers.

Starting with forza, starfield and redfall all within the first half of this year as promised, no more excuses and no more delays especially after firing all these staff while still spending 70 billion to buy acti.

The time for talk is over now, its time to show up and deliver on time as promised and for the games to live up to the hype

Of course I agree with your statement on the surface level. The goal hasn't change for the past 12 years now for MS.

This statement coming from someone like you always gets goal posted. Example if Redfall and Starfield are good. Are you gonna say

"MS had nothing to do with it."
The game was destined to be good before they bought them"

"MS needs to build games from the ground up for it to count. " have a strong feeling that's what you'll say.

If the games are bad will you say

"it's because MS mismanaged them and ruined them."

despite delaying and giving them time and resources.

Im more curious as to what you'll say.

ApocalypseShadow479d ago (Edited 479d ago )

I'm more curious on what you currently say when Phil keeps TALKING but not delivering. I'm also curious on what you think a company that is worth 20 times more than Sony and has more studios SHOULD be delivering to the console industry after all this time.

More resources and finances should be putting out more content. Instead, those resources are being used to buy up content that sells more on their competitor's platform knowing that they were getting that same content anyway from most third parties. While in-house developers like Rare, 343, etc don't deliver.

A good game is a good game. No matter the system. Like Forza Horizon. Their inconsistency to produce is in question. Not my comment. I'm not the one that needs to deliver on promises.

Lightning77479d ago

"I'm more curious on what you currently say when Phil keeps TALKING but not delivering."

Not hard just look through my comment history.

Nice tangent off topic and never actually answered my question. Well you sort of did.

"A good game is a good game. No matter the system."

So you're sayin if the game is good you'll give MS props then?

MrDead480d ago

How about stop banning gamers from multiplatform publishers and stop firing thousands of staff.

Give it a few more years and MS will shutdown Bethesda and just take the IPs like Doom, Fallout, Elder Scrolls and absorb them into Xbox.

Release some AAA titles !! Very doubtful though lol 😆 😂

The samurai dude is black....because of course he is. Because that makes total f***ing sense. I honestly wouldn't expect anything less from Ubisoft.

RaidenBlack7h ago

Supposedly inspired by the real life black samurai, Yasuke.

bababooiy29m ago(Edited 28m ago)

Right instead of covering any real asian figures they sat there digging through history to find any mention of a black man all by accident im sure. Its all just a happy coincidence that every commercial is also a black man next to either white or asian female. Or how most games and movies now push interracial relationships as standard all just in our minds im sure!

NovusTerminus6h ago(Edited 5h ago)

Yasuke, he was a samurai who served under Nobunaga and was in fact black. However that is where his foot note in history begins and ends as he seemingly did nothing of note throughout his service.

There are far better general's they could have focused on who had major moments in history... But nope.

EDIT: I do want to add though, that since there is nothing of note from him in history, it does open up what you can do from a fictional writing stand point.

Stealth in that armour though....

LOGICWINS3h ago

@Hofstaderman Would be interesting if that armor actually slowed you down during stealth gameplay.

Hofstaderman2h ago

@Logic its a UbiSoft game so don't expect that level of detail. If and when I have time to try this game will likely play as the female shinobi. Perhaps that will offer a suite of stealthy options but I somehow doubt that....

SimpleSlave3h ago

You are such a dumb ass racist, I honestly wouldn't expect anything less from you either.

notachance4m ago

why? in today’s game asians are far more under represented than blacks, choosing a black here rather than an asian man is very racist in my opinion.

You need to recognize the fact that besides white, black is now the 2nd if not the most represented race in media, does inclusivity went out the door now if we’re talking against black?
