What is semi retired. Your either in or out

Skate-AK485d ago

My guess is he will still do consulting work but not active development.

MadLad485d ago

Not really. He'll be still involved with the series, just not as hands on and not helming it.

Much like my father was a lifelong mechanic, retired, but still does side work from his home. He retired, but he does work at his own leisure.

You never hear the term? You work, but you work less, and Sakurai was a really bad workaholic, so it's much better for his health if he just... works less. It's like how some people choose to work casual or part-time instead of full-time because they're financially capable of working less and still having a decent quality of life.

im sure he'll be motivated by money.

i like the guy, but you know.

Seems that's still being debated.
