Ratalaika Games brings back an obscure platformer with a very neat twist in Avenging Spirit.
The newest old game to come to the Nintendo Switch is Jaleco’s “classic” Avenging Spirit. While it has some nice touches, it may not really be much of a package, unless you're really, REALLY into Avenging Spirit.

Richard writes: "Not a week goes by without a Ratalaika Games release it seems like anymore. And with the greatest of respect, many of them are achievement fodder of retro looking games at best. Sometimes though, Ratalaika manage to get hold of a lesser know classic title for re-release. This is one of those games, and it sounds pretty good to boot. Avenging Spirit is out today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch."
I remember being introduced to the Gameboy version of this on the 3DS and found I surprisingly really enjoyed it. I think I'll definitely check out the arcade version, even though I expect I will get through it in one sitting.
