Enjoy this argument for another 6 months, we've already seen whats coming. Starfield and Redfall. Indiana Jones, Wolfenstein, and Doom are now xbox first party as well. Deathloop is now xbox. Add Call of Duty old and new games to the list of gamepass drops. Diablo. Avowed. Outer Worlds. State of Decay. The argument of "where are the first party games" is over in 2023 so seriously enjoy the xbox bashing while it lasts.

It's not free, MS pays Ubisoft, and the gamer pays MS for the sub-service.

So UBI gets paid, then MS gets paid and then the gamer gets a product/service.

I get the whole supporting the Dev narrative, but it's kinda silly at this point to think that you or I know better than the big Corp like UBISOFT on their profit, expectations, or even how much they gained by making any deals with sub-services. Just think for a minute, UBISOFT supports sub-services on, Stadia, PS, Xbox, and Luna, hell, they even have their own sub-service. At this point, it's almost moronic for people to hate on GP, when way way less substantial sub-services like Luna and Stadia are receiving dev support.

Let's face the music people and stop pretending like these Devs and Pubs don't know what they are doing when it comes to their businesses, and somehow you know better than an entire team of people put in place to conduct this very type of projections, with 100% their companies best interest. Please let this narrative die.
