I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.
The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.
MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh

reminds me of that noby noby boy game that took 6 years to complete except this one cannot be done which if looked at the lens of the real world is fitting considering world peace will never be achieved.
Geez here come the "Hideo is trying to tell us something!" cringe crew. Yeah, He's trying to tell you he didn't finish the game. Please don't kid yourself. Giant Ego-san packed his toys and went full karen out the door. And...good riddance...as his latest endeavors tell it all = Death Stranding (pretty much everything that sucked game play and story-wise in MGS can be found here, laced with all the Hideo's-man-crush and Hideo-self insertion you can muster). If anything MGS5 should mark Hideo's precious princess entitlement melt-down. He's a total chump. He makes some interesting games (some good, some wtf), but he's an egotistical chump followed by a cut of low esteem employees (that are more talented than him and are doing the leg work). The cult of Mickey mouse and die hard Disney fans is creepy enough, Hideo and his die-hards take that to another level.
