This sound so off for the game genre it is meant to!

sourOG745d ago (Edited 745d ago )

It’s probably an intro or outro lol. I doubt this will be playing during the game. I never would have imagined a wu tang evil dead collab but there it is and I don’t hate it lol. My favorite music and movies formed voltron.

Yeah I was going to say, they did the same with the new Sonic films, they get these artists which don't sound like they relate to the game they are doing the song for

Serious Sam 3 had Hero for example

That was something that sounded like what the game felt like when blasting shit up

Call me old-fashioned, but this doesn’t give me Evil Dead vibes at all.

If it was a single player only game I would have interest.

CrimsonWing69373d ago

Yea, this is literally what I was coming here to post, too.

I’m not knocking that it isn’t fun or anything, but I have no interest in asymmetrical MP games and had this had a story and decent production value, I’d have bought it Day 1.

I wish this game had a single player mode and included a continued story of when ash got stuck in the future (the original ending of army of darkness.)

TGG_overlord390d ago

I want a single player mode as well ;) That would be pretty neat indeed.

HeliosHex390d ago

@TGG. I still remember how bad ass his car looked right out of a mad max movie too.

Bathyj390d ago

Ok you can't just call a game Game of the Year Edition because it has all the DLC, which I'm assuming is what this is.

ModsDoBetter390d ago

Yep, it’s a strange trend, which Ubisoft are pretty bad for as well. Whilst this game is good as das as asymmetrical multiplayer games go, it’s a far cry from game of the year.

Huge fan of the movies and Bruce Campbell, and I even like the series, but they dropped the ball on this one by making it a live service. I don't think it even got 1 GOTY vote.

HyperMoused390d ago

I love Evil dead its my favourite horror franchise, they needed to make this a single player game with a single player campaign, making it MP like this is just such a let down.
