I like the Ezio trilogy and the ME trilogy but I also love the Xenosaga trilogy and Ar Tonelico trilogy.

darthv7297d ago

My personal favorites would be the GoW trilogy (both Gears & God), the original halo trilogy, Streets of Rage trilogy, Super Star Wars trilogy, Metroid Prime trilogy

Rebel_Scum96d ago

hmm SoR as a trilogy is not that good. 1 & 2 were great but 3 was the drizzling shits.

jznrpg97d ago (Edited 97d ago )

Xenosaga! I’d say games like Suikoden or Ys but they went beyond three games.

Puty97d ago

Resident Evil og trilogy, Silent Hill ...

Charlieboy33397d ago

How can you make a list like this and not have Uncharted?

AlphaKennyTime97d ago (Edited 97d ago )

I want to say it's because it has more than 3 games by the same dev team, but they included GTA so I don't know. You make a fair point.

Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection (Switch) - Review | Ulvespill

Axel writes: "Since 2007, Assassin's Creed has been a major title in the gaming market on various consoles, and in many ways set the standard for adventure games. For very many, myself included, is the most beloved assassin of all Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Happiness was therefore great when AC: Ezio Collection was launched in 2016. Now it comes again - this time to the Nintendo Switch."

The Doom and Ezio collections I’ll give you, but are you insinuating it takes you all that long to download two retro Castlevania games?

SegaGamer1605d ago

This is a really stupid thing to complain about.

Kran1605d ago (Edited 1605d ago )

Well no because then you're opening up possibilities that Devs will try to get away with forcing you to use a 1 time code to have to download the other half of the game, trying to destroy the Idea of sharing games, and also requires you to download a game online when perhaps services may be down or you have no internet (for whatever reason) or a garbage 1mbs internet speed

xander707691605d ago

What is the point of a physical release of a collection where you have to download most of the games? And my understand is that the Doom 2016 disc is literally the vanilla release disc. No patches or anything included.

One of the appeals of these kinds of releases is that you are getting a full package ON DISC. They might as well have done this as a digital-only release, the physical release is completely pointless and even deceptive I would say.

KwietStorm_BLM1605d ago

I didn't know 56k was still up and running.

jeromeface1605d ago

Doom 1 and 2 are maybe 100 meg in total... doom 3 would be the only sizable download here, this is a really bad example.
