CG writes: 343 Industries released Halo Infinite campaign this week for the masses. Whilst it’s not the best looking game we have ever seen, it does present some great looking moments. Take a look at our Halo Infinite campaign gameplay video showcasing it running on PC using max settings in 4K resolution using an RTX 3090.
Xbox Game Pass has some great single-player experiences, but nowadays, it's all about getting together with friends and family. Thankfully, there's a surprisingly extensive library of multiplayer titles on Game Pass to bring everyone together.
PS5-exclusive Helldivers 2 is so popular that Xbox players want a taste of democracy, and now Halo Forge will be the battleground for a Helldivers 2 remake.
Just get a PS5 and be done with it. Four Xbox exclusives are making their way over with more to follow down the road.
I remember the good old days of Halo 3 and the Forge. Some wild game games came from it.
Don't get this mentality. Nothing is stopping these people from buying a PS5
I don't get fanboyism and refusing to purchase a competitors console.
HA! All the while Xbox games are popping up in PS stores. To be honest, on day exclusivity will probably be gone and each will just provide a streaming service bundle, but why not have fun while we can.
Celebrate season two of the TV series by earning the awesome and exclusive Halo Infinite Silver Team helmets before they’re gone for good on Xbox.
Loving it so far. The mp is solid too.
I like the campaign!
Running heavy undervolt and watercooled on 6900xt 100-170W, 5600X 30-40W, the game runs at 4K60 dynamic (doesn’t drop res almost at all), all maxed out. I had to uninstall the HD Texture pack because it caused heavy stutters and fps drops, can’t see the difference, but runs 30% faster with much less stutters.
Halo Infinite is very badly optimized, but you can get a good experience if you learn what the settings do. Vsync, Dynamic Scaling and HD Texture pack are broken.
Loving the campaign. Looks beautiful on my 4k telly. Very happy with how it looks and plays.
Excellent jeux, tres beau visuellement.

The single player campaign is a 6/10 for me. The first hour or so before you get into the open world is a boring slog. Some of it looks good but some of it looks really bad. The animations on some of the enemies looks good but the cutscenes are pretty horrible. The main bad guy is cliche and seems very one dimensional. I don't really care about his threats, who he is, or anything about him.
Once you get outside it does get better but it is just not that great. The open world looks okay but things in the distance look bad, some of the effects are terrible (tire tracks), and it just looks like a game from 4 years ago. I also find pilot annoying, he just complains the whole time and the open world is just okay. When I'm playing it I just keep thinking is this game better than other open world FPS games and I keep coming back to the same answer, no. It doesn't look better, the world isn't better, the story is weak, etc. If it wasn't Master Chief I think people wouldn't be giving this game anything above an 8, the nostalgia is definitely boosting a lot of these scores.
I would say if you aren't invested n the Halo universe then you're not going to love this game. You'll probably have a decent enough time but it really isn't all that. Don't trust anyone who's giving this game a 10/10, they have rose tinted glasses on in my opinion. Maybe the Xbox One and Series S held it back. I'm running it on a RTX3080
