This game didn't hold up. I tried it and it was clunky and ugly. 7 is being generous.

This game is mechanically old. The controls are dated, the combat is awful and the party controls are just miserable to play. I didn't want to have to spell it out. The gameplay is actually awful, so much so that I don't care about the story.

It’s a pure RPG. It’s not trying to be Devil May Cry. The controls are fine enough for what it is.
