Lmao, ok there bud

"People loved it," he says. "I think that sense of uncertainty and 'What are you going to get?' and then bang, Ronaldo or Messi would roll out and that's a wonderful thing."

Sounds like gambling to me... go get a FIFA and EA tattoo

JCOLE131951206d ago

It’s unreal. Says it’s not gambling but then literally describes gambling in that sentence. It’s crazy how stupid he thinks we all are.

Mr Pumblechook1206d ago

As Peter Moore is returning to gaming I would love to see him go back to Microsoft as he could give Phil Spencer some fatherly advice.

Yeah, about how to take a gaming company out of the hardware business.

Manubiggs1206d ago

or more like even if the amount you spend is double the price of the game for those card packs - you will still not get Ronald or Messi cause there is less than a 1% chance.

"I think that sense of uncertainty and 'What are you going to get?' and then bang, Ronaldo or Messi would roll out and that's a wonderful thing."

I think that's a line used by people who are in gambling therapy explaining to the therapist why they find it such a buzz!

Peter that sounds great about the excitement and uncertainty...what are the odds?

Oh screw off... it is gambling

Shikoku1206d ago

Nope sorry dude it's gambling and more and more people are waking up to it being just that.

anast1206d ago

This guy is a scumbag. Then why not just put a price on each player? Don't make it random.

I don't want to hate on Peter Moore. I have shook hands with him a few times since be been back in Liverpool. Did a great job for LFC and the amount of work be does for charity is amazing.

But I completely disagree. It's gambling at least with real gaming you can actually win more money than you loose.

With FIFA your gambling and getting virtual items in return. I actually like FIFA and I actually do like ultimate team mode. I try my best to not spend anymore on packs. I just stick to the free packs you get via the season objectives.

However last night. I had to come off FIFA as the urge to buy packs was getting to me. I had a few free packs to open. Opened them and didn't get much in terms of player value. I noticed promo packs where available and shamefully bought one with real money not absolutely noting from the pack but the urge to buy more was there. So I had to turn my ps5 of and do other thkngs. Unfortunately there are people that the likes of EA prey on that can't turn there console off and instead reach for there credit card to buy more useless packs because they have no will power.

Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors: "I deserve a lot of criticism."

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.
"I'm sure I deserve a lot of criticism, but I don't think my team or companies deserve all the criticism. I could take a lot of that blame myself. But ultimately I need to believe in the mission," he said.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss7d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

jznrpg4d ago

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

anast6d ago

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
