Hope so it’s about time. Sad thing is due to the license EA will continue to sell millions at full price and PES will still struggle even at half price day1 and of the 2 let’s face it EA can afford to give the game away each year I don’t know why they don’t. I get it day1 easy $billion or 3 but with the amount of microstransactions In ultimate team they make more then enough to do free to play or at least start as these games (EA’s annuals sports ones are a con)

In fairness to EA you don't need to spend money on ultimate team to have an amazing team any more, just play the game regularly. I've got a team of TOTSSF players without spending a penny.

The issue is that the licencing model used by leagues around the world creates a monopoly. We need that to end so new Devs can enter this market.

Agree Toddybad. This isn't seen by people who don't play Fifa, they don't really know how much it's changed. So many ways to just earn players and rewards, and if you're enjoying it then it doesn't feel like a grind. PES21 is cheaper because they've barely done anything with it. Not that Fifa has done a huge amount, but it's done a lot more than PES, particularly with career mode it seems.

PES has a far better gameplay than fifa.. Fifa has better atmosphere.. Both have trash commentaries. I used to get football game every year.. Haven't done it for the last 2 or 3 years. I might get one alongside PS5 to see what improvements we'll be getting.. I remember fifa 15 was garbage on PS4.

The Time is Right for a Third Soccer Sim - 'This is Football' is the Right Game

"With FIFA's fanbase in open revolt, the continued irrelevance of PES and neither soccer title serving the single player particularly well, now would be the perfect time for 'This is Football' to return." - TechStomper
