Sonic Forces Was Good, Y'all Just Have Bad Taste

Let's get real - Sonic Forces was a pretty decent game, and y'all are just mean.

Nah it was bad, but worth a playthrough on a lazy day if you got it for PS+. It was a neat little romp on a day i had nothing to do, very feel good even if it sucks lol

Wasn't the best 3D Sonic game and wasn't the worst, it was alright without being spectacular.

I bought it for around $20 shortly after it released. Mediocre games can still have fun moments. Most of the fun I had with the game was unlocking gear for my created characters. It took me a little while to get everything. Other than that it was clear the game had a shoe string budget and suffered for it. I still had fun with it however.

The game had its fun moments, no doubt, and the soundtrack was pretty good as well, but it still has obvious flaws. Chaos' tease, Infinite's barebones backstory, mediocre classic Sonic stages, etc. Still not a bad game, and there were certainly Sonic games that were much weaker imo (Sonic Boom, Sonic 06 and Dark Chronicles are what comes to my mind) but it could have been better but that's just my opinion.

I've been playing Sonic games since the first one on Genesis, so I'm used to all of the 3D Sonic's problems. But nothing prepared me for how awful Sonic Forces is. Even ignoring the terrible plot (because let's face it, nobody plays Sonic for its plot), the incredibly short stages with bad stage design, tacked on custom character abilities, and bad controls (in which they even managed to mess with the homing attack) puts it in the bottom of the list.

Still regarding to controls, it baffles me that, like Generations, they had two Sonics, each with different physics, and none of them feels right. That's made worse by the fact that Sonic Mania was released before it and had perfect physics. At least they got rid of Lost World's awful parkour controls.

I only don't say it's worse than Sonic 2006 because that one was way buggier.

It really wasn't. I bought it when it was like $15 and it was relatively enjoyable.

As expected the story was trash and so was the camera, and it just felt very short and unfinished.

The ONE strong point we're the boss battles (that were also a little short).

Sonic needs a HUGE redesign in order to be considered AAA again....or just release a solid sequel to Sonic Mania.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I got it on PS+ and I rather enjoyed it. I recommended it to my young nephew because it's a really easy game. Not as good as Mania. I did like the 60fps. Made it feel better than the 360 Sonic Generations. Sonic feels bad at that frame rate.

Got it on PS+. I tried it & 20 mins into the game I turned it off & quickly deleted it.
