Whilst we have to wait until May 19 for more official info/footage on the newly announced Mafia: Trilogy, thanks to a store listing we have a glimpse at what the Mafia II definitive remastered edition looks like.
Yagmur from NoobFeed writes - Very recently, we had news from Hangar 13, which is the studio that brought us the Mafia trilogy, that the chief operating officer Matthew Urban and the head of the studio Haden Blackman were leaving the company. This is not big news on its own, the studios always change hands and heads. But according to the latest news, a new Mafia game is at work.
love the games. Liked part 3 until the game save froze into me dying over and over and there was no way to fix it.
Can't wait, got a soft spot for the Mafia franchise, hope they can finally get the right balance for everything with this new one
Adam Vale of The Koalition writes: Mafia: Trilogy definitely had a rather unorthodox launch back in July. The “Trilogy” only contained 2 of the 3 titles that being Mafia 2: Definitive Edition and Mafia 3: Definitive Edition. Mafia 1 which was advertised as receiving the full makeover treatment was delayed until late September. However, if you were unaware of this delay and just purchased the digital download, you may have been surprised to see no mention of the delayed Mafia 1 other than the fact it was missing.
A valuable collection overall and I'm curious to see where the devs take the franchise next.
The three games of the Mafia Trilogy have been extended, remastered, and remade into one bundle for the price of a regular game, but one of these things feels extremely lacking when played next to the other two.
So this is a remaster and MAFIA 1 is a remake?
Day 1
Tried mafia 3.... Wasn't very good. Deleted it
I hope they include more missions in Mafia 2, feel like there was a whole story line missed when they skipped over Vito and Joe's success as mobsters
