The Xbox One didn't do terribly this console generation, but the PlayStation 4 took first. With the Xbox Series X, there's a new opportunity. The Xbox will rise again!
Over 150 playbooks will be in EA Sports College Football 25 according to the game listings at both Walmart and GameStop. EA had previously announced that unique playbooks for each team were a high priority for this year’s game but now we know there will be more than just 134 FBS teams’ playbooks.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II has now launched, bringing with it some of the most stunning visuals you've ever seen in a game.
The first game lacked depth as well, but the graphics were phenomenal
Going to be real. I’m playing on my PC and every setting is on high at 60fps locked. The game is beautiful, sounds good in headphones (I’m sorry but Returnal still holds the aural crown), and has an impressive photo mode. Can literally hit that at any time. You won’t have full control at certain times, but it’s impressive. After more than an hour I’ve already started to get bored. The fights are brain dead so far and it is a CRAP ton of walking and listening. I’m over the beginning “theme” of you did this to us (people that have played will get this as not to spoil anything). I literally non stop run every chance I get. Obviously isn’t the whole game but gahdamn. Hopefully it picks up soon. Definitely can’t see this being a 10/10 by any stretch of the imagination because the beginning has gotten so boring. Here’s to a better experience tomorrow or Friday when I pick it back up.
The Hunt: Showdown upgrade to CryEngine 5.11 drops this Aug. 15! Players can expect "a mountain of new content" throughout summer of 2024.
In order to make a "comeback" or "rise", you needed to be on top first but since that has never been the case of Xbox, there is no such thing as a "comeback" or "rise again".
A more realistic approach could have been: "10 reasons Xbox could do better this time".
And yes, Xbox One did terribly this generation and the reasons mentioned in the article are very bland.
Can’t make a comeback if the brand was never undisputedly on top in the first place
Never forget about that the most successful Xbox console still ended up in last place in its generation
Let's say Microsoft was "winning" last gen and is staging a "comeback." That they were the market leader.
Could gamers tell me if they would like to go back to lopsided releases of dude bro shooting games over everything else alongside westernized Japanese games that were being insulted by calling them hentai?
Does anyone want to go back to services you already pay for, like Netflix, behind a paywall? Like F2P is currently? How about high priced, proprietary memory cards, WiFi adapters, HD DVD add-ons and HDDs?
Does anyone want to go back to the value of a 3 year warranty? Or the familiar brown box of winning because Microsoft new they launched a broken system but needed that first release edge over Sony at any cost?
Does anyone want to go back to their abandonment of previous hardware and taking games from the previous gen, to front load the launch of a new console?
Does anyone want to do back to the arrogance and perceived self importance? So much so, that they thought they could force an add-on on you for advertising purposes, take away your game ownership, require you to check in and be connected at all times?
Does anyone find it strange that the most valuable company, hasn't made the same effort as the other two? Or the same effort their competitor did in turning things around where it counts which is games? With one of them being the game of the decade. And, this valuable trillion dollar company's only answer is a subscription and no launch exclusives for next gen.
Does...does anyone want to go back to that type of leadership of the console industry? That type of winning? Does it need a comeback?
