Left Alive Director Open to Making Traditional Front Mission Game, or Hybrid with Tactics and Action

While Left Alive is a large departure from the Front Mission series, Director Toshifumi Nabeshima is interested in revisiting the old ways.

This is mostly unrelated, but does anyone remember a PS1 game, that was turn base strategy like FM and FFT, but was also weirdly gory? Like a fountain of blood would appear when you killed someone. I can't remember what the game is called.

I loved that game!

It was cool how you and an enemy both moved at the same time during a turn too, it added an extra layer of strategy. I wish they'd port it to new consoles, I haven't played it in a really long time and I'd love to play through it again.

TBH my dad would gooo NUTS if they come out with a new FRONT MISSION he is almost 50 and still enjoys going back to play all the old ones.

See, that’s what I was hoping this game would be but unfortunately it isn’t. I’d bd happy if they released Front Mission 5. I will never understand why that game never came out here especially since it was the best Front Mission with cutscenes.
