DSOGaming writes: "A couple of days ago, we informed you about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled running with 60fps on the best Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3. *SNAP* Another one for my cringe collection

MoshM44d ago

Maybe in 5 years PCMR will play 2008's MGS4 & 2009's highest rated game Uncharted 2. Im sure they're just as mind blowing to this day! Without nostalgia.

thatguyhayat44d ago

Or maybe just buy a ps3 and support them? The ps3 is dead cheap now

Rude-ro44d ago

I think you are missing the sarcasm of his point...
Outside of an article here on n4g happily supporting pirating...
the games are old and taking them this many years to even get them going.

MoshM44d ago

Lmao PC gamers dno't care about good games. Just frame rates and resolution. 720p/30fps is unbearable ofr them. Thank God.

kevnb44d ago

Why so threatened? This will let these games live forever and not be tied to outdated and discontinued hardware only. Eventually my ps3 will die, but I’ll still be able to play the games :).

starchild43d ago

You guys are pathetic fanboys. Instead of celebrating the significant progress this emulator has made and the advantages that emulation offers you want to downplay it and wave your corporate pom poms around.

Prettygoodgamer43d ago

Oh you mean we should cheer piracy ? ...

starchild43d ago

Sorry, I didn't mean you. I hope that was clear. Your comment made perfect sense.

Emulation isn't piracy. Piracy is illegal. Do you think N4G would allow an article/video about an illegal activity to be posted or discussed? Playing the games you own through emulation is completely legal.

Prettygoodgamer42d ago

Yeah I'm sure everyone is buying a bluray drive for their pc to play the ps3 games they own instead of using their ps3, and btw there have been a fair few articles about piracy on here before so yes.

And another point, you mostly arent legally allowed to duplicate any software you buy because the licence agreement you enter when buying a product usually says duplicating the software isn't legal. Most people that use emulation also use iso or such not the actual disc.

Two boring and overrated games, the only PS3 game I'm interested in replaying is Demon's Souls, the rest is already on PC.

7 years ago I would have been banned for this same troll comment.

This emulator is still too early in development. Most of the games that say "playable" either crashes after the fmvs or are choppy AF. And thats with a I5 4960k,1080ti and 16GIG RAM running on Windows 10.

Akarogg 43d ago (Edited 43d ago )

You need an i7 cpu. Emulators are especially heavy on the cpu

Jon_Targaryen40d ago (Edited 40d ago )

My Cpu is an equivalent of a 7th gen I5 7500 which isnt that much worse than a 7th gen I7 or a 6th gen I7, so yeah. I stick to my original post. I know this emulator is still in alpha so Im not gonna rip it apart. I will wait until its in beta before trying again.

Einhander197144d ago

I have the real deal no need for emulation thanks.

kevnb43d ago

Ya that’s not going to last forever, maybe one day you will be thankful instead of salty.

mkis00743d ago (Edited 43d ago )

By that time all games ever made will be timeless and platform agnostic released by the makers themselves. Think libraries.

Little Big Planet 3! Play my Silent Hills level based of P.T

Jon_Targaryen40d ago (Edited 40d ago )
