April 2018 is the 14th month that the Nintendo Switch has been available for. During the latest month the gap grew in favor of the DS by 3.89 million units when compared to the Switch during the same timeframe. However, in the last 12 months the Switch has grown its lead by 1.04 million units. The Switch is currently ahead of the DS by 2.82 million units.
The DS launched in November 2004 in North America, December 2004 in Japan and March 2005 in Europe, while the Nintendo Switch launched worldwide in March 2017. The Switch has sold 16.67 million units, while the DS sold 13.85 million units during the same timeframe.

Stop buying the fucking game! It is no secret that the game is based around opening packs that need to be bought with real money if you want to be competitive. Yes I know, you have the chance to get the cards without investing real money, but that is a real grind and you still may never get the cards you want. This is not new and it will not change if people keep buying the game/packs.
