Paul writes: "If you are going to watch an animated film, it really has to be one of the Pixar ones, and the finest of those films that feature living automobiles is the Cars franchise. Top Gear In Grand Theft Auto 5

YouTube user Hampyro and friends have recreated BBC's hit car show within Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar offer players a wide range of tools to help create truly cinematic videos and they were put to use well throughout this series. The Rally Car Challenge is just the most recent in a long list of GTA V Top Gear episodes produced by the channel and they provide humour, excitement and entertainment for not only video game lovers but also for car enthusiasts.

The video also features YouTube user Tom Matthews who up until recently also presented his own version of the show but with a bit more of a serious tone (possibly closer to the original source material). Whereas Hampyro and friends seem to embrace the GTA V elements a bit more in their show, having chaos set in regularly in the form of explosions, deaths and of course... Police standoffs.

The channel has grown with the introduction of the show managing to amass 26,000 subscribers and 1.8 million views since it's launch. The show continues to get more adventurous with it's challenges and the production value looks to have improved tenfold since the first upload.

If you're a fan of Top Gear or a fan of GTA V, or just a fan of chaotic comedy then I'd recommend checking out this show!

Instantly better than the piss poor Top Gear that Chris Evans was involved in.

Way better than that Evans/LePlank flop. Can't wait for the Grand Tour in November!
