Call of Duty: WWII PS4 Box Art Confirms Sony Has Timed Exclusivity Deal For DLC

Continuing the usual trend this generation, it seems that Activision and Sony have once again given fans the opportunity to play Call of Duty: WWII DLC first on the PlayStation 4.

You believe this deal was signed with Sony more than 3.5 years ago? Before this game was in active design stages? When they were still working on Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare?

Black Ops 3 was when Sony got the exclusivity deal. Ghosts and Advanced Warfare had a deal with MS so Sony didn't have timed exclusivity from the start of this gen.

So you have seen a copy of this deal that lists all COD titles? Could I please get a copy of that? And remember before this gen started many companies expected MS to clean up and be the leading console so you are saying Activision went against its pattern last gen of supporting COD first on the Xbox and instead went with Sony. That must have been one heck of a negotiation.

Please get me a copy of that agreement between Activision and Sony that blankets ALL COD titles. Thanks.

House stood on stage and announced it as the "new home of COD", and then stated the exclusivity deal would extend past BLOPS3. That was 2015.

The question since 2015 has been whether it is a 3 year deal or 5 year deal. You are literally the first person I've seen even once think it was a single-year deal.

I don't care one iota what anyone thinks. In this regard it does not matter what I think. What matters is proof. People come on here making blanket statements as if they were fact think that an assumption is just as good as proof. It isn't. When they get called out they just ignore reality. If you are going to make some statement concerning the intricacies of such contracts be prepared to put up or shutup. It doesn't matter in the least what you assume or what you want to be true. And go back to the heart of what I said. Do you believe Activision signed a multi deal contract with Sony before this generation began when many believed Sony would be trailing Microsoft? How much sense does that make. None. Then again without proof it does not matter.

There are some things one can deduce from various indicators. Even then it requires some sort of concrete supporting evidence beside "What you think." Otherwise such remarks are just flights of fancy.

lelo2play---- lol they can keep cod on console for all i care as a PC gamer i have over 400+ games and i have only played through 18% of them so i see no reason for us to be pissed because of some deal a sh--t company makes with another. ah i almost forgot the PS4 it slips my mind sometimes it happen when you don't turn it on too many times but yeah i still have persona 5 and yakuza zero to play through and the next yakuza is coming out in a few months so no problem here.

Hasn't this been known since their exclusivity deal w/ Xbox ended and they made a deal with PlayStation which was announced at an E3 event , So how is this news . Either way its a pass till the content is cheap or included in some lame edition .

Even as a PS4 guy I don't really agree with this kinda thing. Just give it to everyone at the same time!

Also, I have to say I'm cautiously optimistic this might be a renaissance for CoD, haven't really enjoyed one since MW 2. Activision will be dogs with their contractual stipulations though, the microtransaction lark brings in massive $$$$, and stupid kids will keep on buying them.

COD content is on platforms no matter the studio making the game , as for its duration who knows and if you think otherwise then and want proof look for it your damn self . So till it's cheap or bundled in some lame edition am waiting, As for you PS fans enjoy .
