IGN: Download Free Ninja Tunes

N+ isn't just one of the most fun Nintendo DS games of the year; it also has one of the best soundtracks. The 8-bit synths and hip-hop beats simultaneously play fan service to retro gamers and set the perfect tone for the game's cold, sterile environments. Updating old school bleeps and bloops with modern production has worked well for other retro flavored games like Bionic Commando: Rearmed. IGN imagines this is exactly what the ninja would be listening to on his iPod as he runs and jumps in search of gold. N+ has one of the rare game soundtracks that you want to keep listening to after you've turned off your DS.

Composer 5 Limbs and publisher Atari have graciously made a sampling of these tunes available for download right here. If you still haven't jumped onto the N+ bandwagon, maybe these audio selections will tempt you. (N+, Nintendo DS, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360)
