Another 2016 game becomes a 2017 game

>_>

Paytaa3210d ago

I feel like this happens every year at the tail end. So many 2014 games became 2015 games and 2015 games became 2016 games and so on. I think it's best to just assume that every high-profile release is subject to change 85% of the time.

Thank god

More money saved

circus_freaks3210d ago

Kind of relieved. As much as I was looking forward to this it give's me a bit of breathing room. I have such a backlog of games I want to play at this point I doubt I would have a chance to touch it until 2017 anyway.

AlbinoBob3210d ago

Same here. But you have to think the game probably would've been cheaper by the time your ready to play.

kmeck5183209d ago

Glad cause final fantasy got delayed and now I have plenty of time to play that before this comes out.

TFJWM3210d ago

They have a grip that is why they are delaying rather than releasing broken games...

holdmyown833209d ago

They should stop announcing games before they are finished so yes you devs get a fuckin grip.

IIFloodyII3209d ago

@holdmyown83
So they shouldn't announce a game until they are 2 weeks to a month from release? If that happened 99% of all games would be massive bombs.

eferreira3209d ago

make a game and you'll see how difficult it is

Let the COD on GamePass experiment begin!
I would think their quarterly revenue will take a hit compared to a year ago, but will maybe make up for it throughout the year as the monthly GP subs keep coming in

pwnmaster3000257d ago

Was up with call of duty man?
I downloaded cod on gamepass and for some reason I cannot access the game.

darthv72257d ago

just curious what version? There are some that you can pre-load, but they wont work until their release date later this month.

pwnmaster3000257d ago

I have to redownload it again for the 3rd time to check.
I ended up just deleting it to make room for other games after the second time.

It was on Xbox game pass, I didn’t know there was other versions. I just downloaded everything, but sadly I couldn’t even access the game. Maybe 3rd time the charm. I’ll download it again.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH257d ago

It’s not out yet man unless you’re talking about MW3.

pwnmaster3000257d ago

I’m talking about mw3. For some reason I could not get it to work.

just_looken257d ago

On xbox there is the last gen/current gen versions pc though you could also get a xbox version.

When that new forza first came out for one day they had the xbox version on the pc store i was like ? what it was odd.

On xbox you can easily download the one version of a game instead of the series version so you run into issues on your series console.

pwnmaster3000257d ago

Because a game won’t run after I download it??
Man your kids must hate your @ss if that’s how you think.

It's going to be very interesting to follow up on how the new entry of CoD will perform at the box office, player numbers and distribution of Xbox, PC and PS versions this year.

I got excited thinking they ported StarCraft to consoles but it's just the PC version. Also, I thought Starcraft 2 was already free to play.

TheColbertinator257d ago

I'm certain it is going to be the Campaign Collection version.

We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.

cammers1995459d ago

They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.

Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.

anast459d ago

That's one reason to be hopeful, but Ubi is trending down too.

chicken_in_the_corn458d ago

Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.

The 7 Best South Park Games

The South Park series has somehow managed to stay relevant for over 25 years, but which are the best games based on the TV show?

cammers1995565d ago (Edited 565d ago )

The only two worth playing are Stick of truth and fractured but whole. The rest were garbage except snow day which I can't say anything about yet. But with that said, unlike stick and fractured which debuted as AAA full priced titles by ubisoft, snow day is a new developer and publisher and has a budget price at only $30 soooo
