Why does UE3 look better on most of the pics..?

KTF263330d ago (Edited 3330d ago )

Textures looks better but lighting looks really bad
maybe just lazy remastered

Concertoine3330d ago (Edited 3330d ago )

The UE4 version looks like it hasn't fully loaded yet or something. The only clear improvement i can see is on Mr. Freeze's suit.

kevnb3330d ago

outsourced and ported, remaster is just a marketing term.

Jon_Targaryen3330d ago

Im starting to think people are just porting these games then stick it with a Remastered label. Its not like it costs much to port to current Gen consoles for all we know.

_-EDMIX-_3330d ago

When it moved from Unreal engine 3 to 4, its in the remaster category.

They could have just ported it 1.1 using the same engine bud.

Jimneous3329d ago (Edited 3329d ago )

You know nothing Jon Snow.
Sorry, it's unrelated but I felt someone had to say it.

shuvam093330d ago (Edited 3330d ago )

Because you forgot to put on your glasses...
Jokes apart, all the UE3 scenes shown are pre rendered cutscenes...
UE4 version may be realtime...
Not sure though...

_-EDMIX-_3330d ago

Because its not frame by frame. I would also include that you are not seeing it in motion to see some of the differences.

jb2273330d ago

They must have switched them or mislabeled them. There is a difference, but the UE3 stuff just looks better.

If it isn't 60 then there really isn't a point to release it.Last gen versions are 30,unless it looks as good as arkham knight there is no excuse.

masso91123329d ago

I really dont like hownArkham games feel and look at 60fps, they were made to play at 30fps and thats how I like them, but well, thats just my opinion.

Petebloodyonion3330d ago

Already got the remastered version twice.
WB gave it to me a second time with the Arkham knight fiasco
It's call the pc version
already 1080P 60 frames sec, etc.

Erik73573330d ago

and it dosent look like crap and a downgrade like this one does

Petebloodyonion3330d ago

and we can guarantee that this version will still work on the next version of Windows and Steam.

porkChop3330d ago

You have a PC. Cool story, no one gives a shit.

Erik73573330d ago

You obviously do enough to make a spiteful reply to it

Good for you, but why some pc players are begging for this as well?
At least we can play Arkham Knight.

OoglyBoogly3330d ago

Arkham Knight was significantly fixed. I don't know if it supports multi-GPU but I know that, at 4K, MY 290X plays it just fine.

Spyroo3330d ago

@OoglyBoogly lol sure "significantly fixed"

So fixed that they had to remove Batman Arkham Knight entirely from Steam :)

Germany73330d ago

LOL, exactly, but let's trust this guy, he knows a lot. /s

Unspoken3329d ago

It's been fixed and working fine for months. Great game and looked amazing on PC.

sullynathan3330d ago

I hope there are also 60 fps improvements

oIITSBIIo3330d ago

This looks terrible!
if you can't do a proper upgrade for the visuals then leave it alone and don't make it uglier like this.
