Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch is the first piece of DLC that released alongside the new Rise of the Tomb Raider by Crystal Dynamics. At its core is a storyline linked with the old Russian myth, offering the player a small snippet of story, a new challenge tomb, as well as a few items to unlock. This includes a new outfit and a couple of weapons. The story begins by taking the players back to one of my favourite places in RotTR, where a natural rock formation has created a kind of pipe organ, leading the players into the Temple of the Witch. Lara hears reports over the radio from scattered trinity soldiers who are being broken by apparent magic, and quickly succumbs to the effects herself. Your job is to help solve the clearly non-magical origins of this witch, and help rescue the main story character's grandfather, whose wife was killed by the witch years before.
Gareth writes "Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of the best games of last year. I loved it and played it constantly over the Xmas period. You can read our review on the site and we loved it too – so much so that we gave it top marks. It’s dynamic, beautiful and exciting, creating another fantastical story in the new Lara Croft timeline."
In Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch, the first story-based DLC for Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara Croft forgoes chasing down ancient artifacts and fighting secret societies in order to help out a young woman named Nadia find her missing grandfather.
Rise of the Tomb Raider – Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch is a short piece that properly reflects its price point.
love the name Baba Yaga, hope this is included on disc when the game comes out for PS4
