GT:
Mayan Death Robots certainly has its fun moments and there are some good ideas here that make it more than just another artillery game, but the execution is not quite there. Improved controls and a little more meat to the game would go a long way towards making the game more than the niche indie distraction that it is.
In the end, this a fun game that any Worms fan will enjoy. The asking price is a reasonable $15, but given that it’s only local multiplayer, we’d hold off until a sale before picking it up. If you do get it, there’s plenty of fun to be had as long as you don’t mind all of the god/goddess references.
Bit Cultures writes: "Mayan Death Robots takes an aspect of Mayan culture that’s perhaps somewhat overlooked. The Death Robot aspect. Each playable character is a Mayan God that, happily, is also a Death Robot."
Overflowing with style and originality, these robots are so over the top and hilarious that you're bound to have a good time.
