HG: "Double Fine's Tim Schafer just took the stage to show off a new trailer for the remastered version of Day of the Tentacle, and it looks pretty great."
HPP: On this Halloween-themed episode of Second Opinion, Day of the Tentacle is a good game, but it hasn't aged nearly as well as you think.
Day of the Tentacle Remastered is faithfully restoring just about every element of the 1993 LucasArts original game. And that means everything, as Double Fine has confirmed that the playable version of Maniac Mansion found in the original will also be present in the remaster.
Double Fine's next effort to remaster the old LucasArts classics sees it taking aim at Day of the Tentacle. IndieCade 2015 provided the first opportunity to go hands-on with Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Shacknews was there to try it out.
Fingers crossed for a retail version!
One of the very few things I liked from the show.
The more adventure games on ps4, the better.
