TTP: Point and click adventure games have been making a strong comeback in recent times thanks to a lot of high quality and interesting releases. Earlier this week we have talked about an old school inspired game called Factory 47 and today we can confirm that yet another point and click adventure game has been made available on the App Store.
Daedalic Entertainment return to the world of Silence with a sequel to The Whispered World. The Digital Fix rejoins Noah and Spot to point, click and be moved.
So sad these marvels are overlooked by many. Daedalic really publishes the greatest adventure games these days.
Gamereactor spoke to Creator Marco Hüllen and Product Manager Ralf Kessler and they said The Whispered World sequel is set to be more narrative focused. "It's a couple of months between when it's really finished, but I'm very happy."
Daedalic Entertainment is one of the ballsiest outfits in the game business. They took up the charge for adventure games when no other studio would touch them, and as the genre picked up steam again they began to gamble on weirder and weirder properties. Over the next year they’re looking to expand their scope even further with several games that differ vastly in tone and design sensibilities.
