OT idk I can't judge until I try it but hate the mystical powers. Why can't they just give us a strip back multiplayer like Among Thieves or The Last of Us. The multiplayer were fun because of the challenge. It's annoying dealing with over powered crap

But every single Uncharted game has a mystical/super natural element. And I'm sure they'll include a mode without powers.

I think they said you can play multiplayer that is bare bones like UC2 so everyone is happy.

I think that's Naughty Dog trying out new things. I totally get their desire to expand rather than just give us Among Thieves multiplayer, PS4 edition. For sure, it looks bonkers and I can't say I'm particularly excited to see this going on.

Then again, I haven't played it. Before we get up in arms, let's assume it's like Super Smash Bros. where we can turn off items/handicaps and the like. Some people might come to love it. The purists I'm sure will stick to the familiar and there's nothing wrong with that. I'll be fair and see how it turns out before I get too upset. And hey, if I don't like it, I'll just join games where that stuff is turned off. Everybody wins. No need for gamers to demand its exclusion and take wind out of everyone else's sails.

You can play multiplayer without powers there is option in match type. So it has both so no complain their.

The first thing the mystical powers in multiplayer reminded me of was Super Smash bros. The fold out totem pole was very reminiscent of a pokeball.

OT: everything is looking good imo.. the special ability doesn't seem like a 1 shot kill (yay).
The microtransaction items are unlockable in game (F*ck Yeah)!
And ND are going to make a mode like U2! (YESS)

What's there not to like?
Maybe the microtransaction will give an advantage but I think that they will be locked by the player's lvl like U3.

I wonder if co-op was being emphasized in the trailer...or maybe your teammates actually talk to each other and throw out lines while you're owning fools? Would like some solid co-op for the last (possibly?) Uncharted.

Look's like Uncharted 4 is not going to be a day one buy for me, guess I was too optimistic that Naughty Dog would actually improve the Uncharted MP, not make it even more shittier than it already was. I knew I shouldn't have bought that stupid Nathan Drake collection day one for the U4 beta. Sigh.....
