Ten ways to skin a dragon. If there's a single genre that stands out on the Vita, it's JRPGs. On this day three years ago, the PlayStation Vita was widely released in North America and I wrote this list to mark the occasion. So, slip into some comfortable cosplay and enjoy this look back at ten incredibly fantastical stories of slaying demons and saving the world.

Persona 4 Golden is now the best selling Persona game with approximately 860.000 copies sold.

it probably is, but it would still be interesting to see the real numbers considering thoes dont include digital sales. the psp ones were avalible digital, and then re-released on vita (bought P3p twice;phys+digi), as well as the PS2 games being re-released on the PSN store. also bought P4G twice. got sick of physical and went all digital with my vita. too many little games to carry around and/or lose track of. i dont mind swapping discs bc they are in the same room, but my vita was never near my collection so it was always a pain.

I initially posted the same, but after reading the comments from the users of vgcharts, it seems that it includes the digital sales. I am not absolutely sure though, because as you probably know, there are various opinions about vgcharts, and that is why I wrote "approximately". I am however confident that Persona 4 Golden is the best selling Persona game by now, and it will probably be close to 1.000.000, as Persona 5 is about to be released.

true. maybe, but it seems way off, only a half a million P3:P games sold in japan?? there were a lot of psps sold there. and same with P3 and P4, less than a million WW even when ps2 was in its Prime?? doesnt make much sense in my eyes but maybe im missing something. they dont like it as mich as i thought they did?? more importantly: they dont like it as much as Me?? i account for 100k of thoes sales alone ;).

I´m one of those who´s been hyping the series since 2009, and/but those JP numbers seem to correct. Truth is, the series has always been niche, but due to the PSP and the "free acces" to P3P, might be a part of the "new" gained popularity for the series, which again might be bigger, than sales actually show.

I´ve bought P1, P2, P3: FES, P3P retail and digital and also P4G. I have been keeping track with the sales for years, and I can tell you that the numbers seem to be correct.

I think P4G already passed the 1 million mark. Atlus just didn't as excited as other VG companies on announcing sales for their games.

I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.

send me one while you're at it. I mean what's better than Whiskey and Persona? A cigar with the two, and that would be perfection personified.

Remasters And Remakes Make Up 90 Percent Of 2023's Highest-Rated Games

Only one of the games on the top ten is completely original.

90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.

We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.
