Telltale Games have pulled out all the stops in No Going Back, with moments so powerful, so moving, that it will leave you with an emotional hangover afterwards. With the release of The Walking Dead: Episode 5 around the corner, Telltale Games have released a developer interview.
Not every scene has needs intense action or spectacular explosions, instead some of the most memorable scenes are heartbreaking. Whether it was Commander Shepard’s final speech to his partner or Joel crying over the body of his daughter, these depressing scenes create a sense of realism for these worlds and characters. I cry easily when playing video games and watching movies. I still cry when I watch FFX ending! But I didn't shed a single tear in Lightning Returns. Or in any FFXIII game, actually.
Although I am so sad for what the Final Fantasy series has become that I do almost cry.
