Oddworld Inhabitants, developer of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, have released a 1.05 update patch for the PS4 game, which is almost 3GB in size.
Every Oddworld game can be nabbed for just $1, or if you're based in the UK, £1 via Fanatical, a perfect deal for Steam Deck.
That's a steal for Munch's Odyssey and Stranger's Wrath alone. Not a fan of the other games in the series, but I know some people really enjoy them.
Starting today, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is free at Epic Games Store. The free game offer runs until December 19 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim it, it’s yours to keep.
WTMG's Heidi Hawes: "All Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty! managed to do was frustrate me. However, it did make me appreciate the controls in Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee more. Honestly, if you’re new to the franchise, it might even be better to just skip ahead to Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. At least those gameplay mechanics feel like something more from this era. That being said, if you’re a die hard fan of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee or perhaps just a glutton for punishment, then perhaps try your luck with Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty!."
So? I prefer a big patch to playing a broken game.
Finished it last night, it's as fantastic as the original, for €20 is a fantastic deal.
i have yet to finish it but it is indeed as awesome as the original but even prettier. of course ^^
Rather large patch but seems to fix a lot of things
Recently finished this game, what a fantastic experience.
wow didnt know the game was so broken, glad they fixed it though.
