PS4 Games Outselling Xbox One Games by 3-to-1, but PC “Most Talked About”

T1 - Rakuten’s Play.com has released sales figures confirming that PlayStation 4 launch titles have outsold Xbox One launch titles by a ratio of 3-to-1.

I don't think that could ever be accurate. To find out what the most talked about games are, wouldn't it be better see what the highest treading games are between that period?

A more accurate method may be to track the searches of people online using google trends. Here are the results for the past 90 days. The max interest of PS4 to xbox one games is about 2:1

Xbox One actually has a much higher attach rate in U.S. Maybe not globally cause PS4 is available in 4x more territories.

If this author is talking about exclusives then he would be correct because it's basically 1 exclusive (Killzone) vs. 3 (Ryse, Forza 5, DR3). I don't know if some people are playing stupid but it's obvious Killzone will sell the most since Xbox gamers have triple the choices to choose from.

Not really. As it turns out the Xbox One had a slightly higher retail attach but the PS4 had a much higher digital attach. I think it was on Forbes.

I'm trying to do the match and I'm convinced there is no way PS4 launch titles have outsold XB1 launch titles 3:1 WW. There was just an article shown that the attachment rate for the Xb1 is higher than the ps4. How articles like this get published is beyond me Look at vgchartz they have global software at 9.7 million on ps4 and 8 million on Xb1, even if they are off by a wide margin it would have to be 24 million for the ps4 and 8 million for XB1 to have a 3:1 ratio. That is just false.

I have to agree about not being able to verify 3:1. The only way to know for sure is to have the digital sales numbers along with physical. I have a feeling that the PS4 did in fact win, but I do not believe it is by that much.

On topic, it will be interesting to see the attach rate of games, especially since the PS4 is getting the better multi-plats so far this gen.

I believe this and I believe it will get worst for xbone. The end figure for the sales of Xbone vs PS4 will be at least 1:5 not matter what MS do.
