I like role-based MMOs like Final Fantasy XI or Star Wars Galaxies (R.I.P). It was cool how you didn't HAVE to be a fighter. I also liked how they were more...you know...ROLE PLAYing games where you actually played a role. I played a lot of MUDs growing up and I wish more games would take that route.
For me it's the most important aspect of an MMORPG as I am an L2 veteran & that's what kept me going back for more all those years (more than 8).
