PixlBit | "If you were given 13 grand, would you use it to make a sequel to an Atari Lynx puzzle game? I can't say that would be my first choice, and I bet it wouldn't be yours either, but could nearly 400 Kickstarter backers go wrong? (I can see Takedown: Red Sabre players are reaching for pitchforks; easy, folks, this is nothing like that. Stand down.) Another adventure in crowdfunding has resurrected one man's decades-long dream, and after playing the final product via Desura, I consider my brain partially teased, moderately amused."
Chuck’s Challenge 3D is basically a well-executed puzzle game (in terms of artwork and gameplay). The gameplay is pretty darn addictive which will require you to solve puzzles using different strategies as it incorporates various elements besides moving blocks round. Elements such as unlocking different parts of the puzzle by using keys, barriers, environment features and portals, as well as moving elements as the game progresses. Each level has a certain type puzzle in the elements used which makes it more interesting as you will eventually have to combine previous strategies and elements to solve these levels.

It’s certainly not a new idea (it is the spiritual successor to Chip’s Challenge, an old PC game by the same creator), but an old idea done well can still be worthwhile."
Chuck's Challenge 3D is inspired by a very old game for PC. The concept remained the same but now has a current graphics quite nice. It is a puzzle game that works very well on mobile platforms but is also quite enjoyable to play on PC. The story as you would expect in a puzzle game is very simple, serving only to give some context to the game.
