I don't really expect much from launch games. Some are good, but games get better over time. I'm waiting on Infamous SS. That game looks beyond sick.

*The down voter must be mad he didn't get a ps4 to play Infamous.

That's the thing about truth! Many can't handle it, and when they can't refute it, they anonymously disagree with it.

mikeslemonade3795d ago

Don't see what the real problem is when PS4 is the cheaper system for you to play multiplatform games. People act like you're gonna buy both systems and then compare the exclusives.

stuna13795d ago

To be honest, I don't think there are as many people who invested in the next gen consoles, invested in them because of the launch lineup! They invested in them in the hopes of things to come. Me personally I would rather already have the console first, thereby getting the bulk of the buyin price out of the way, and then only have to worry about buying the software that appeals to me as it's released later on.

Mister_Dawg3795d ago

Dude that makes no sense at all.
Why buy the system at launch if you have no desire to play the launch titles?

Plus if you have the money to buy it at launch, then you'll still have the money several months down the line when better games hopefully emerge. Then if they don't, you can spend it on something better.

Result.

Don't agree man. I bought the PS4 because its not gonna be cheaper anytime soon and wanted to be part of an incredible launch. Wasn't too interested in the launch titles but Killzone was good and Assassin's Creed was an incredible surprise and looks great on PS4.

Gazondaily3795d ago (Edited 3795d ago )

The guy in the white shirt also featured in this video and queued up for around 7-8 hours for the PlayStation launch (watch at 23 seconds and at 2:00):

He also prefers the PS4 to the Xbox One.

I'll have to get this! Been a big fan of KI since the very first one.

Petebloodyonion150d ago (Edited 150d ago )

I love KI (still play the old arcade version) but feel like the Xbox version is like a big intimidating chessboard with no easy way to instruct you to play chess.
The game is so deep in terms of little things to do that it makes Smash Bros melee look like a casual experience.
Honestly, doing a combo Breaker is punish/reward by itself but hey you can add a counterbreaker.
Here's what you also need to know
Breaking Shadow-linker
Instincts
Shadow counter
Auto double,
linker, manual
ender
etc,

There isn't going to be any chance of this being played at tournaments unless it appears on all platforms like all fighting games.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH154d ago

SF5 didn’t appear on all consoles and was still played at Tournaments. I’ve seen KI tournaments recently so I don’t think your opinion is accurate.
