Kalypso Media Digital has announced a publishing agreement with Linked Dimensions GbR to publish Tank Operations: European Campaign, a classically inspired turn-based strategy game for Windows PC. In Tank Operations: European Campaign, players will take on the role of a WWII Field Marshal, blasting through twelve campaigns in turn-based warfare.

That’s from the opening scenario of Tank Operations: European Campaign, and it’s enough to tell you that this is not a historical tactical simulator. It’s just a tactical sim with a veneer of historicity. This is disappointing, because the game could have been so much more.
