The video itself depicts prototype gameplay including an encounter with a wolf, starting a campfire, consumption of rations to stay alive, and Mark Meer’s voiceover as the game’s protagonist, Will Mackenzie. The minimalist art style created for the game is very much akin to that of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead.

That's according to a new developer diary in which Hinterland Studio reflects on the last eight years of development, as well as teasing what may be coming next, including a premium season pass to ensure the game "continues to be financially self-sustaining"."
Please don't have some stupid supernatural/horror element, i'm sick of nearly every decent looking survival game having some random demon or monster chase you all the god damn time. would much rather just have a really good in depth survival game, this looks VERY promising and i'm a huge fan of minimalist design
