The console version of Diablo 3 was released today featuring an account wide paragon level system as well as better loot. It sure seems like the console version of the game was released with Loot 1.5 and Paragon 1.5...updates that were inspired by the PC community. So where are the updates for PC? Hopefully, Paragon 2.0 and Loot 2.0 can make up for this.
Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.
Are you comparing a continuously improved 10+ years old masterpiece with the... beta of an unreleased game?
Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. One of things needed is the Staff of Herding, which also unlocks the famous Cow Level known as Whimsyshire. Here's how to craft that staff, for those that either have forgotten, or have never completed it.
Ridiculous.
just crap on the PC version more...the PC version was clearly just a beta for the console release and the console release was probably funded by the auction house sales...just guessing here
Geez, guess they really screwed the PC version over. All I hear are PC gamers complaining about it :/
Still doesn't matter in the end, as a Diablo III pc owner, not going to buy the same game again to operate it with a controller and get better loot.
Picked it up yesterday... WOW! Blizzard really hates it's PC fans. It plays smoother, improved loot system, no AH shoved in your face, crafting system has been tweaked, , new power ups, some quest turn ins give you awesome upgrades items, dodge feature, offline game play, plays great on a controller and the account wide paragon feature. LOL, i'm happy about the game on the console, but seriously Blizzard could of showed this kind of love for it's PC fans, instead of back stabbing them.
