Wing Commander creator Chris Roberts has always been pretty clear on the PC-centric nature of his upcoming space simulator Star Citizen, but the reveal of the PS4 as what is basically a PC in console disguise seems to have changed his mind.
Today Cloud Imperium Games released new videos focusing on the upcoming major update for the growing space game Star Citizen.
Star Citizen will soon get a rather impressive character customization feature in alpha 3.23, but it's limited to the head. Yet, developers also want to implement body customization in the future.
Well I guess they couldn't have done so within the last two decades working on the game so probably it'll take another two decades

Personal Hangars sound brilliant for what is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious games in the galaxy.

And worth it too, you only need to make a $10,000 donation…

..to get on the waiting list.
Just a giant blackhole simulator sucks up everything in sight really loves money from the fools.

Which PC exclusive will come to the PS4 next? I can't wait to play FFXIV on that thing.
"The conditions for a port are the ability to patch the game timely and cross platform gameplay with the PC version, as Roberts wants all his players to share the same universe"
MS will miss out on many titles long as they don't allow shared servers/universe
The bigger question is: Will the game even be able to run on the next-gen systems at a reasonable rate? This isn't just some other indie title we're talking about here, this game makes EVE Online look like child's play and RSI is constantly talking about pushing the limits so that only the highest of high in the upper echelons of the PC Master Race will be able to run the game maxed out.
I tend to doubt there will be much of an audience for a low-detailed version of the game on home consoles.
